Ever since my oldest turned 2, I have been searching for and downloading countless worksheets—from literacy to reading, addition to subtraction, cut-and-paste to coloring, and from “I Spy” to crossword puzzles. The list goes on and on. Often, I was looking for specific formats to accommodate my children’s preferences. For example, they really like cut-and-paste activities over tracing, but they do not enjoy doing the same sheet repeatedly.
With that in mind, I started making our own worksheets in formats tailored to my own kids. Below are packages containing a total of 160 worksheets for 40 kindergarten sight words. There are four different formats for each word, along with four word search puzzles. A sample of these practice sheets is available for free download. If any of these suit your children, there are two packages available for purchase at my TPT store. Each package includes a complete check-off list of all 40 words, 80 practice worksheets (two formats for each word), and two crossword puzzles with answer keys.
