My daughter is currently learning addition and subtraction with numbers up to 20. She has been practicing various sets of equations since kindergarten last year, but she still struggles to answer without using her fingers to count. To make practice more engaging, I created several Valentine’s Day themed color by number worksheets that are both cute and interactive.
These worksheets include a variety of math problems, such as doubles, addition, subtraction, or a mix of both, with numbers up to 10 and 20. There are multiple types of equations that add up to the same number, and some problems are repeated within the same worksheet to help reinforce key concepts and improve retention.
These color by number activities are fun and engaging, featuring Valentine’s Day-themed images such as hearts, ice cream, cupcakes, presents, flowers, cards, love bugs, and bears.
The goal of these activities is to help my daughter become fluent in solving math problems, confidently recalling answers without hesitation or relying on counting tools.
